Fun & Food

Mmm... yesterday was fun. Went to North Avenue beach for the last volleyball match of the season (we actually won a game! woo, that's 2 for the summer!) Then we all had a potluck picnic on the beach. Good times. Wine, Pitas, Hummus, Chips, Fruit Salad, Crackers, Meat, Cheese, Twizzlers, Rum & Coke... all good.

Took me forever to get home though, We left the beach around 9, and I waited for the 151 Lake Shore bus, but the next thing I knew it was almost 10, and I still hadn't seen a bus. (it's somewhat possible that I missed it while dosing off... Today being my 11th straight day of having to come into work, 9 of which were openings (2 at 630am, 7 at 7am, 1 at 8am), I'm EXHAUSTED!) I finally decided to walk up to North to catch the Clark or Broadway Bus, which I didn't see, so I decided to walk the half mile to the Clark/Division Red Line, still without seeing a bus. Finally got home around 11, and up this morning at 630am. :-/

However, I do FINALLY get a day off tomorrow! Although I'm going to have to leave at 7am, the day should be totally worth it. Going up to the Bristol Ren Fest with , alex, kank (Kat and Frank), Eric, and regretfulfanboy. Definitely looking forward to it. I just hope I don't come back to find out that I have to work Sunday morning! This job is killing me....
